Scope
Indoor location has become a key issue for many emerging applications. However, there is no overall and easy solution. Therefore, IPIN brings together experts in electronics, surveying and informatics. Researchers, system providers and users are invited to contribute with presentations, posters, demonstrations and discussions creating synergies between different indoor positioning techniques.
Topics
You are invited to submit abstracts presenting scientific work or practical implementations addressing the problem of indoor position determination, indoor navigation as well as positioning for mobile mapping indoors. We deliberately do not restrict the approaches to certain instrumentation or precision. Accordingly, the program will include:
- GNSS Indoor (High Sensitive GNSS, Pseudolites)
- Hybrid & Inertial Sensors, Sensor Fusion & Integration, Pedestrian Navigation, Tracking
- UWB - Ultra Wide Band
- RF Technologies, Signal Propagation, RFID
- WLAN, WiFi
- Industrial Metrology & Engineering Geodesy Systems
- Theory, Algorithms
- Optical Systems
- Ultra Sound and Infrared Systems
- iGPS
- Mobile Phone Positioning, AGPS
- Mapping & GIS Based Systems
- Innovative Systems
- Overview, Sensor Networks
Demonstration Room
We encourage you to bring your system and show its functionality in our demonstration rooms. Nothing is more vivid than demonstrating real performance.
Technical Exhibitions
Technical exhibitions addressing the conference scope are very welcome. Space for exhibitors will be provided in the central lounge.
Target Groups
Researchers, developers, service providers as well as the system users.
Language
The official language for presentations and abstracts is English.
