4th Microwave and Radar Week MRW-2010 will be organized In Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania stands where the Neris and Vilnia rivers join, among tree-covered hills. The Old Town is one of the largest historic city centres in Eastern Europe The Baroque squares and churches recall its importance as an international trading centre in the sixteenth century. Today, tall new buildings reflect the development of city in the twenty-first century.
The first Microwave and Radar Week was organized in Warsaw, Poland in 2004 year, just after the Poland and Baltic Countries have joined the European Union. The following Microwave and Radar Weeks were held in Krakow (2006) and in Wroclaw (2008), organized by Telecommunications Research Institute. Now the Microwave and Radar Week is coming in Lithuania, to emphasis long lasted cooperation and union between Poland and Lithuania. The event is coorganized by Polish and Lithuanian Chapters of IEEE.
Everyone from the worldwide radar family is cordially invited to attend the Microwave and Radar Week.

Description

This modern 22-storey hotel is located across the Neris River from Vilnius's historical centre, three kilometres away. The 291 newly renovated rooms are bright and airy, with functional furniture and views of the river and surrounding city. A concierge is on hand to help guests organize tours and sightseeing, and the hotel boasts the biggest and most modern conference centre in Vilnius. The closest airport is Vilnius International; approximate driving time is 15-20 minutes and distance is 9 kilometres. Frequent buses run from the airport to Vilnius train station, city centre and beyond. Taxis are also available from the airport arrivals terminal. Buses and taxis are a good way to get around. Cycling is another good way to explore Vilnius, and the old centre is easily explored on foot.

From The Airport, Turn Right Onto Svitrigailos Street. Continue To Kudirkos And Tumo Vaizganto Street. Turn Left Onto Lukiskiu Street, Followed By A Right Turn Onto Gelezinio Vilko Street. After The Bridge, Turn Right Onto Konstitucijos Avenue. Turn Onto Upes Street, And The Hotel Is Located Half Way Down.
