In continuation to our effort in promoting the usage of steel in construction and exploring more Business Opportunities for Steel Structures Industry, INIS Enterprises takes great pleasure in announcing the 2nd edition Metal Building Systems Expo 2010 (MBS’10) – India’s flagship event on Steel Structures & Allied Products.

MBS’10 builds on the success of its earlier edition in Chennai and is poised to set new standards in terms of footfalls as well as business deals. The 2nd edition of MBS will be held from 3rd to 5th June, 2010 at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Centre, Pune.

Pune has been chosen as the show destination due to its strategic location and the immense construction activity planned in the region including Mumbai. The growth numbers suggest a huge market opportunity and MBS’2010 will be an endeavor to see it materialize.

The international trade fair & conference will serve as an ideal meeting place for interaction between the various stakeholders of the construction industry and a platform to showcase latest trends & innovations in Steel Structures & Allied products.

The event is expected to draw participants from Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and China.

Established under the Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme (IIUS) of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Auto Cluster is the first of its kind set- up in this zone. Thanks to the Commerce and Industry Ministry, which has generously supported the proposed Auto Cluster project to be located in the industrial areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune will now play host to some of the biggest names in the automobile sector.

The primary objective of the Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme is to improve the worthiness of domestic names in the international circuit. The scheme will emphasize on strategic interventions to convert static local efficiency into dynamic competitiveness by:
  • Promoting innovation and collective learning.
  • Creating suitable customized infra structural support and service network.
  • Promoting product design and development through focused support and association with specific R&D institutions.
  • Assisting the units in setting up /developing common facilities like testing facilities, design centers, information hub etc.
  • Assisting appropriate technology transfer, information sharing and quality improvement.
