CSI National Conference on Education and Research (ConfER)

A Success Story of New Conference Series dedicated to Academia and R&D

Prelude: As India’s largest and one of the world’s earliest IT professional organizations, the CSI has always aimed at promoting education and research activities through conventions, seminars and workshops. The CSI Annual Conventions are held in different cities across India. The respective technical divisions of Computer Society of India also organized the national/international conferences such as BIG, COMAD, ConSEG, COMNET, ConfER etc.. Among these, the National Conferences on Education and Research (ConfER) are the latest addition – an initiative of Division V (Education & Research) with the following aim and objectives:

• To facilitate interaction and collaboration among academicians, researchers and practioners
• To enrich participants through technical paper presentations, tutorials, workshops and exhibitions
• To show case state/territory-specific education/research competence and identify growth areas
• To promote innovation though presentation excellence awards for path-breaking projects
• To prepare ‘GenNext IT Professionals’ through workshops, career guidance and entrepreneurship support
