Cancer care continues to evolve as new advances in medicine change diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to cancer management. These advances indicate a need to improve clinical practice and develop a better understanding of optimizing care for patients. Scripps Cancer Center’s Oncology Nursing Advanced Practice conference is designed to keep the oncology professional informed on clinical issues and current trends in cancer practice.
This two and a half day course is designed for nurse practitioners, clinical nurse specialists, and other advanced practice health care professionals dedicated to the field of oncology. Participants will benefit from an intimate learning environment in which prominent faculty will present the latest in oncology care and provide practical strategies and tools to improve nursing practice and patient outcomes. The program itself is designed to provide advanced educational sessions along with ample networking opportunities for attendees.
